This post will be a little different then our past two. This one doesn’t talk about a recipe we fixed for dessert or supper. This post is just all about heart. We will probably do something like this from time to time. 🙂
Today was the first race of the Chase at New Hampshire. Manda and I both are race fans and we’ve both been to several races… I know over 25 between the two of us and hopefully many more to come. I take that back, I KNOW there’s more to come! Anyway, my favorite driver is Clint Bowyer and coming into this weekend, he hasn’t won a race this year. In 2007 he was in the same situation and he ended up winning in New Hampshire. Well, Friday, I was feeling deja vu all over again! I knew he was going to have a strong showing. Turns out, I was right!!! Clint ended up winning today; first race win for his crew chief Shane Wilson and it was the first race win for General Mills. In honor of that, I decided to eat a bowl of Cheerios as my dessert tonight.
Up above, is my bowl of Cheerios. I put it in a yellow bowl with a red spoon on purpose. lol Anyway, here’s to Clint, Shane, and all of the 33 crew for a job well done and an AMAZING start to the Chase!!!! 🙂
